Three Horses in a Snowstorm, Siglufjörður, Iceland, 2022

Among all the images in my Magic Iceland series, this one holds a special place. Captured in late December, just before Christmas, it was born from a vision that first came to me in a dream. In the darkness of a sleepless night, I saw them—three horses moving through a wild snowstorm, almost weightless, as if levitating among stars.

The next night, drawn by that dream, I returned to them in the pitch-black of Siglufjörður, the fjord stretching endlessly behind them. The world was silent, the air thick with snow, and in that moment of perfect stillness, I took this photograph. The horses seemed to float, their forms shifting between reality and something more ethereal.
