Featherverse.

I have always been drawn to birds.

Not because I know much about them.

I don't.

But I never seem to get tired of watching them.

A swan drifting through the mist.

A pigeon catching the last light of the day.

A flock suddenly changing direction as if they all shared the same thought.

There is something strange about them.

They live among us, yet never seem entirely part of our world.

They can stay.

Or leave.

A few movements of the wings and they are gone.

I have photographed birds in many countries and under many different skies, but the feeling has remained the same.

Curiosity.

Wonder.

A quiet sense that there is more happening around us than we usually notice.

Featherverse grew from that fascination.

Not with birds themselves.

But with the mystery they carry with them.
