"Murmurations" is my first photobook, a quiet and reflective collection of images gathered over five years of chasing the shifting shapes of starling flocks. Born from stillness and obsession during the lockdown, this book is a tribute to the skies that moved when nothing else did.
Printed on tactile, carefully chosen paper, each page holds a moment that could never happen again. These are images too alive to live behind a screen. This book was made for those who want to hold something real, to slow down, and to feel the rhythm of the wild in their hands.
The book was carefully designed by Tina De Souter and printed in Belgium by one of Europe's most prestigious art printers. Every detail was chosen to serve the photographs. The layout is clean, the materials are beautiful, and the result is both simple and lasting.
This is more than a book. It is an object of presence. A quiet companion. A fragment of stillness. A necessary thing.

Mr. Elage's photos are stunning, but maybe i should choose a better word to describe the "exactness" of the title "murmurations".
Have you ever been near the see or in a wet zone, at that time of the season and the day in which you can hear the cicadas leaving place to crickets and daytime birds leaving place to nighttime ones, all while the warmth of the day slowly evaporates in fresh air? You can feel the same things looking at mr elage's photos.
I have to say, too, that the kindness and the patience of Sasha have been heartwarming.
